Teona Galgoțiu was born in 1998, in Bucharest, Romania. Her poems and films have been published/screened in several anthologies and online projects/film festivals. She has been organising the Super International Film Festival since 2013, and is currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Film Directing at UNATC in Bucharest. Started in 2016, her latest project, Gura Mare, consists of an online platform which promotes poetry, while also inviting artists to create videopoems. Co-curated by Andrei Dósa, the project is mainly interested in creating a bridge between poetry and film.
